Rose of Sharon

Rose of Sharon in gorgeous lilac hues is the inspiration for this painting.  The colors changed dramatically with the sunlight revealing a wide array of cool & warm colors.  Perhaps this painting in a series of floral paintings on copper proved to be the most challenging.
