Jackson Brook

Painted at Jackson Brook in Hedden County Park, Randolph NJ.  My intention was to capture the feeling of flowing water with sunlight shining through the leaves on the rocks and water.  Begun in the month of May in 2018, I painted plein air many times that month and returned again twice in May of 2019.  The movement of the water, changes in light, and variation of leaves & rocks were a great challenge and joy to capture in oil paint.
