Hosted by the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission, I’m thrilled to have two paintings in this exhibition celebrating 40 years of farmland preservation. I spent the last year painting plein air studies at the Hidden Spring Lavender & Alpaca Farm in Skillman, NJ, witnessing firsthand the beauty of the lavender fields in peak bloom and the adorable alpacas up close right in their barn!!! What an AMAZING experience!!! Thank you to owners Marie & Steve Voorhees, an extraordinary husband & wife team.
